pike + lutin emerged from the shared journey of siblings Charlie and Nick. Having grappled with skincare challenges from their teenage years into adulthood, they decided it was time to take matters into their own hands.

Charlie Hounslow, a leading makeup designer for TV and Film, boasts an impressive resume that includes collaboration on Ridley Scott movies and working with A-list actors like Scarlett Johansson, Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, and Tom Cruise. Drawing on her expertise in makeup and prosthetics, Charlie is intimately familiar with the toll these products can take on actors’ skin, aswell as her own.

Nick Hounslow, Charlie’s brother, leads a dual life as an international model and actor, thriving in the spotlight. On the flip side, he’s a UK-based clinical esthetician and science major.

With over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, they’ve collectively tested numerous products, finding that many fall short and sometimes even exacerbate skin issues.
